Bright acid, with coffee and black pepper developing towards a powerful and long finish. A solid producer that always delivers exceptional quality per price ratio.

Garzon Reserva Tannat 2022 $23.95

Tannat is a tricky grape with thick skin that contribute to harsh tannins, but unseemingly so for Garzon. The Tannat of Garzon possesses form and balance that’s unmatched by any other. Once in the winery, the Tannat undergoes cold maceration pre-fermentation before it sees time in French oak. Bold, and flavourful, with beautiful aging potential. This unique wine from Uruguay makes a wonderful gift (even to oneself!) for a cellar collector.

“The Tannat is two years old but already enjoyable. That is the magic of Garzon!” - Christian Wylie, Managing Director, Garzon.
