Chablis is a true wine lover’s region that makes pure, terroir-driven and mineral wines from the Chardonnay grape. Situated as the most northerly wine region in Bourgogne, France, where there are 4 appellations that classify these wines: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru, and Chablis Grand Cru. 

The main soils of Chablis are Jurassic limestone called Kimmeridgian soil. It is this special soil that is 150 million years old that is a contributing factor to the minerality, and ultimate badge of Chablis wine.
