This month, wine lovers are gathering from far and wide to celebrate Ontario’s liquid gold - Icewine, at the Niagara Icewine Festival. On January 13, 2024, the Cool as Ice Gala at the Niagara Parks Power Station begins the special wine event. Continuing for a total of three weekends in January, the Niagara Icewine Festival provides entertainment throughout the month with this exceptional experience to taste several of the top Icewines created by our local VQA producers. Icewine, a VQA Icewine Cocktail Bar and locally inspired dishes from some of the region’s best chefs. The event even includes dancing, featuring a live orchestra and DJ, and immersive performances.
Ticket holders of the Niagara Icewine Festival Discovery Pass will enjoy unique tasting experiences from a list of over 30 wineries along Wine Country Ontario’s Wine Route for exclusive VQA Icewine and food pairings. Cozy in to a dreamy evening in the Icewine Village by grabbing a glass of your favourite Icewine, pulling up to a firepit, and being lulled by live music in this winter wonderland!
Wrapping up the event is the Sparkle & Ice Celebration at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Courthouse on Jan. 26, featuring an exciting Icewine cocktail competition. As is tradition, the evening will culminate with a stunning firework display and Icewine toast.
