Campo Viejo Rioja Gran Reserva 2016

This Rioja consists of three grape varieties all coming from vines aged between 35-123 years old. It provides floral aromas with stewed fruit, clove and vanilla, with hints of black licorice and smoke.
The palate combines well integrated flavours of crushed blackberry, wild raspberry, nutmeg and clove. Graceful, velvet tannins drape over the juicy fruit and encapsulate ripe acidity in an oak frame. Long finish. 93 points
