Black Bank Hill Runway Chardonnay 2023

This unoaked Chardonnay is a pure expression of Black Bank Hill’s estate terroir in the Lincoln Lakeshore sub-appellation of the Niagara Peninsula. At first, delicate aromas of ripe pineapple, mango and candied pear unfold before introducing a full-bodied palate with a tantalizing thread of minerality stitched throughout. Notes of Macintosh apples and almond, with a nervy acidity and a simultaneously appealing chalky and glossy mouthfeel. A slight toastiness comes in on the finish. 92 points
