Happy 20th Anniversary to Rosehall Run!

It's an anniversary that we should all be celebrating together as Canadian wine lovers for this winery and owner/winemaker Dan Sullivan! Dan has carved his name in to Canadian wine history and has played a catalytic part in bringing our industry to where it is today.

Dan is a an innovator and pioneer of Ontario wine, specifically for the budding wine region of Prince Edward County. After being part of the Amateur Winemakers of Ontario, Dan decided in 1996 that he knew he wanted to make a life of winemaking. Him and his partner, Lynn, had been looking for land in Niagara to pursue his passion for winemaking. Thankfully, instead, he was one of the first winemakers to purchase vineyards in Prince Edward County. Here he planted some of the first vines that flourish in the County today, and he was able to build his winery dreams in to fruition. Dan was paving the way for a wine region booming with potential.

Twenty years later, Prince Edward County is no longer a secret kept by sommeliers and wine industry professionals, but an esteemed wine appellation competitive on a global stage, and this is a huge thanks to Rosehall Run and their world class wines. The Rosehall Run team are as deeply passionate as they are kind which only contributes to their great success. They are a quaint, tucked away, charming winery with a team that produces exceptional wines with a profound expression of terroir.

Congratulations Dan, and Rosehall Run team. Cheers to 20 years!
